Unanswered Questions: Gossip Girl Recap - 5/16/11 Episode

Though entirely unbelievable, the GG finale was not too bad.  Since I'm so behind in my blogging, I'm getting right to it:

  • Why is Eric the only one who recognizes just how ludicrous this show can be?  "Just tell me nobody's trying to stop a wedding or a ponzi scheme, give anybody cancer, or turn into a justifiable vengeful townie."  Nobody else seems phased by this.
  • Was that the actual GG book author that Headmistress Queller was introducing to Serena?!  Seems like a hail mary when they know the show is on its last leg.
  • Georgina was almost likeable.  Is this possible or is everyone else getting that annoying?
  • How did it take Vanessa this long to realize that Dan always wanted to be in the in crowd?  Everyone else realized it in the first episode.
  • Why did Dan not try a little harder to protect anybody's identity?  Sabrina?  That's not fooling anyone.
  • Vanessa lectures Dan about the UES crew's lack of values so her solution is to betray his trust, steal his novel, lie about it, and embezzle the money?
  • Serena texts Nate and Dan to meet her to apologize for not choosing either of them before.  Is it just me or after they arrive, does she still not choose either of them?
Not too bad overall.  Though I've had three weeks to think about it, I'm still not sure how I feel about Blair and Chuck vs. Blair and Louis.  Now that Little J and Vanessa are officially out of the cast and the plots have gone beyond crazy, I'm not sure what the future holds for our Upper East friends...

Unanswered Questions: Gossip Girl Recap - 5/9/11 Episode

I have to say, Gossip Girl sucked me back in last night - and not just because of Cyrus Rose's return.  Since I'm so happy about liking a GG episode again, let's jump right into the recap:

  • Why would Charlie spill out all pills and the bottle in plain sight?  At least cover it with kleenex or something in a vain attempt to cover your tracks.  More importantly, if you're going to throw away the bottle anyway, what was the point of spilling out the pills first?  That seems unnecessary.
  • Blair knows her princess status is shaky at best so why is she meeting up with Chuck when Louis' mother is still in town?  After getting engaged is one thing, but why did she need to warn him about his Uncle Jack in person?  It seems like a text would have sufficed.
  • Did anyone else catch Wallace Shaun's princess bride reference?  Aaah I loved it.
  • I know Nate wants to be a good guy by telling Raina the truth about her Dad.  I also think he couldn't think of a good enough lie in time.  But does he really think it's a good idea to tell the deep dark secret of a man who has now been proven to be a murderer?
  • NYC private schools may have formal fundraising events, but I've never seen one with a red carpet.  Am I shattering anyone's perception of the UES?
  • Is it just me, or for a split second did it seem like Dan was going to ignore Charlie's single white female-esque "call me Serena" request and keep trying to have sex with her?
Well it looks like next week will be a doozy - can't wait!

Unanswered Questions: Gossip Girl Recap - 5/2/11 Episode

Because I lapped up every moment of the royal wedding, I was happy to extend my royal dream as far as possible with this week's GG episode.  As unlikely it may be that a real prince is bouncing around the UES with a 20 year old and giving her a honking ring, there are other questions we need to tackle:

  • When Serena walks in on Blair and Louis, she says it's 2:00 so she started her day hours ago.  Why does she say this like it's a given?  Serena does absolutely nothing all day.  She doesn't go to class (unless she's hot for teacher) so I'm pretty sure she doesn't usually get out of bed until it's time to get dressed for whatever party is going down at the end of the respective episode.
  • Nate makes the distinction between a smoking jacket and robe to Chuck...aren't those basically the same thing?
  • Why did Blair choose that kinky hairstyle when she goes to meet Louis' royal parents?  Not her best and will definitely not impress the Grimaldis.
  • Why is Blair still wearing her heels long after leaving the party?  After being shamed in front of royalty, I would have at least put on fuzzy slippers.
  • Is Serena's gossip radar down?  The Serena who attended Constance would have already realized Charlie's life is the one that needs ruining, not Blair's.
  • Why is Raina so mad at Chuck?  She seems to be overreacting a bit and her anger is way misdirected.
  • Why did Charlie think it was ok to swipe Lily's credit card and charge thousands of dollars on Per Se caviar, catering, and crystal?  More importantly, after realizing how much [of somebody else's money] Charlie just spent, how could Rufus just waste that amazing , top-rated Zagat food and take the band out to a restaurant?

Unanswered Questions: Gossip Girl Recap - 4/25/11 Episode

This episode was definitely better than last week's.  There is definitely some shady stuff going on that we'll have to watch unfold, but let's focus on what's currently going on for now:

  • Would Lily really shop on Gilt Group?  I get the product placement, but if she can't shop on Madison Ave., someone like Lily Van der Woodsen would call up Donatella herself if she wanted clothes and couldn't leave the house, not scour the web for discount duds.
  • Raina wants to hide all the information about her mother from Chuck...so she leaves it right out in the open in his apartment?
  • Question to all readers: Have you ever kissed anyone to confirm you don't have feelings for him/her?  No!  That only happens in movies and is not a plausible excuse, Blair.
  • Where's the real Blair?  The one we've grown to love has spent way too much time practicing deception in the UES to think no one would find out about her and Dan's kiss at a packed party.  That was a careless error, B.
  • Has anyone better described Serena's clothes than Blair who said "No, that says 'Let's skip dinner and make a sex tape'"?
Congrats, GG, this episode kept me interested in the season.

Unanswered Questions: Gossip Girl Recap - 4/18/11 Episode

Gossip Girl was back from hiatus last night and while I was happy to have a more robust Monday night viewing schedule, I realize just how far this show has drifted from plausibility.  We’ll see how much longer this recap will last, because – let’s face it – Gossip Girl is no longer the best show on tv.  The show was great when there was a glimmer of truth in these prep school kids’ lives, but now it is so completely far-fetched.  Oh well, that’s how I’m feeling now; I could always change my mind.  Since I’m still on the fence, we’ll soldier on with this week’s Unanswered Questions:
  • Does Vanessa only pop up every couple episodes to stir up dramz by leaving a voicemail for someone to tell them their loved one has eyes for someone else?  I think she’s done this four times already.  When will she learn?
  • When Charlie shows up at the Modern Royalty photo shoot, did she think the family’s theme was ice capades?  It looks like she’s prepping to be on Skating with the Stars.  Serena dropped $1000 on her at Intermix and that's what she wound up with?  I would have at least expected a dress featuring some side boob with Serena as stylist.
  • Speaking of Charlie’s outfit at the Modern Royalty shoot, did anyone else notice she’s in white while everyone else in the family is wearing black?  Symbolism!
  • How much satin is too much?  There are way too many shiny sheets at Blair/Serena/Charlie’s slumber party.  I felt like I was looking at what’s left after a Playboy shoot.
  • Uh oh.  Dan’s making goo goo eyes at Charlie during brunch.  Is this boy capable of liking anyone he’s not quasi-related to?  And wasn't he just staring longingly after Serena once Blair said the kiss meant nothing (though of course, up until she said that, he was into Blair)?  No one moves from girl to girl that fast...oh wait; teenage boys do.
  • Didn't Papa Van der Woodsen have to leave NYC by helicopter to escape the law?  If he's on the run, I'm thinking a very public photo shoot is not the best idea.
  • Does Lily really think she's going to teach crafts in jail like Martha Stewart?  I don't think that woman has crafted anything other than an alibi her entire life.
  • So clearly Charlie’s going to turn out to be some form of wackadoo, as her mother cryptically indicated to Lily.  If your child is, indeed, nutso and you’re about to let her live with another family, shouldn’t you give them a liiiittle more advice than “watch her”?
As I'm sure you expected, most of our questions revolved around fresh meat Charlie.  Can't wait to see where that leads!

Unanswered Questions: Gossip Girl Recap - 2/28/11 Episode

I'm finally back on track with my blogging, which means we're up to our latest recap:

  • What DA decides to open up the courthouse at that time of night?  I don't care how rich you are, that conversation could have waited until 9 AM the next morning.
  • Why would Thorpe prefer Raina thinks her mother was a slut who left them for another man without a word than the truth that she was killed?  I smell something Oedipal.
  • Where can I get a hat like Blair's?  Between that cute cloche and all the great chapeaux I've been seeing on future princess, Kate Middleton, I'm on the hunt for some new headwear.
  • Doesn't Ben seem a bit too scrawny to have the kind of authority to command a beating of the Captain?  It's not like he's the kind of psycho murderer who would get respect in prison.
  • Blair and Dan?!  I mean, I knew this is where the writers were headed, but it still baffles the mind.  Oddly, they could make a good pair, considering they have the same taste in art and movies...but we'll have to wait and see once the dust settles from the incoming explosion that will be Serena and Chuck.

Unanswered Questions: Gossip Girl Recap - 2/21/11 Episode

Ok, so I am WAY behind in my blogging.  I went skiing in Colorado and left everything behind for a long weekend.  I am determined to catch up, starting with my GG recap:

  • Do you ever think the clothes they wear on this show are gorgeous but unrealistic?  Well, Serena was wearing my cocktail ring in this episode - I felt so trendy!  And FYI, it's only $14 so just know you can achieve S's look on a budget.
  • Is it weird I couldn't tell Blair was wearing two different shoes?
  • Ok, Wolman rink does NOT look like that.  Where are all the screaming tourist kids?  Where did the Trump branding go?
  • How did Raina not go to college and is somehow helping her father run his company?  I know Chuck didn't go either, but his daddy's dead.  No billionaire would trust his company to some kid who hasn't even taken Management 101.
  • Why does Raina think rich kids don't walk when Nate suggests a stroll through Central Park?  The kids on this show are wealthy, not paraplegic - we see them walking all the time.
  • How are Serena and Ben taking it slow?  Serena has never been capable of this before and Ben just spent the last 3 years in prison without conjugal visits (though I'm sure he was getting some action because he looks like he would be someone's bitch in the big house).
  • Why would Eric get a physical checkbook for his Rhodes trust?  Nobody uses checks anymore, especially not for $100K transfers.
It's been a little while since the episode aired, but hopefully I remembered enough for the recap.  More to come!

Unanswered Questions: Gossip Girl Recap - 2/14/11 Episode

This season has turned decidedly dull, so let's just go straight to this week's unanswered questions:

  • Is Blair wearing pants, leggings, or tights with that gold blazer?  I can't really tell, but I'm hoping they're pants because "tights are not pants"!
  • Serena can't imagine it would be difficult for Ben to get a job?  She may not be the brightest girl, but she did get into college so she should know spending three years in prison usually precludes you from securing the good jobs.
  • However, I will give Serena credit for the tutoring idea.  Moms don't usually run a credit check; they just want their kids to get into an Ivy.  Why didn't you think of that, Ben?
  • We're supposed to believe Gossip Girl has a tracker but hasn't managed to report Lily and Thorpe's previous relationship until now?
  • I'm pretty sure college girls don't buy each other super expensive dresses, not even the really rich ones like Raina.  However, if they do, where can I find a really rich friend?
  • Is it just me, or does Rufus seem to be carrying a tray of food in every episode like he's Lily's man-servant?
So that's about it.  Turns out Russell Thorpe doesn't have Chuck's best interest at heart, but I'm pretty sure we saw that one coming.  Here's hoping next week will be a little more exciting!

Unanswered Questions: Gossip Girl Recap - 2/7/11 Episode

This was maybe not the most exciting episode we've ever seen, so let's just get right to it:

  • Does anyone else think Dan's hair makes him look like a character from The Outsiders?
  • Why would Rufus be ok with his son living with a convicted felon?  Even if Ben is innocent, it's probably not the best idea to stick your son in a tiny loft with a guy who has done hard time.
  • Dan tells Damien that if he finds out he's lying, he'll make sure he never steps foot in this town again.  Isn't that Blair territory?  Dan lives in Brooklyn and has little pull in Manhattan.
  • Can Blair be promoted?  She's in college and would never have time for a full time job.  Apparently it's possible because James Franco does it, but James Franco is a celebrity, not just some rich kid.  Also, James Franco is almost 33 years old and still going to college...I'm guessing that's not what Blair has in mind.
  • Why did it take this long for anyone to talk to Damien's father?  If there was such an easy way to take Damien down, why did no one talk to him during any one of the other times he was tormenting the GG crew?
Til next week...

Unanswered Questions: Gossip Girl Recap - 1/31/11 Episode

So I'm sure the first unanswered question on your minds is Where is last week's recap?  The answer is that I thought it was a little too lame to write about.  Sorry, writers, but I expected a little more from you for the first episode back after a break.  Enough about last week.  It seems our Gossip Girl buddies were back to their old tricks this week, which means I'm back to ask some more pressing questions.

  • At first I thought the W assistant's name was Everly...as in Beverly minus the B.  Thankfully, I realized I was wrong.  Phew.  It's not Everly; it's Epperly.  But what kind of a name is Epperly?
  • Perhaps the Thorpes want to exploit the Captain's connections, but did they forget he's been in prison the last few years for making some pretty atrocious financial decisions?  The Captain argues with Nate saying "I'm good at what I do!" though I'm guessing the New York state penal system would disagree.
  • While Blair is telling Dan why she needs the internship, she says her Mom is just a famous designer which means she can't call in favors to a fashion magazine...um isn't that exactly what it means to be a famous designer?
  • Lily is concerned when she finds out Eric could not have been staying at Eliot's place after she's informed they broke up.  But why is Lily ok with her high school son sleeping at his boyfriend's apartment?
  • Hot pink hot pants in February with no tights...really?  Don't get me wrong, they were kinda cute, but we all know Blair is not big on shorts/pants and it's still the dead of winter here in NYC.  That outfit doesn't work when there's snow on the ground.  Sorry.
  • Does Serena own any formal dresses that don't have side cut-outs?  It's like if she doesn't hit her skin showing quota, she dies.
  • Blair's working the door at the party?  I'm impressed because that's actually the kind of task an intern would handle and that level of reality somehow shocks me on this show.  I also relish seeing this because I know that as a gal who works in print advertising, I am one of the people she would be checking in.  Ha!
  • A drinking game based around every time Lily pays someone off...why didn't I think of that?!?!

Unanswered Questions: Gossip Girl Recap - 12/6/10 Episode

Finally!  It's about time we learned why Ben was in jail and Juliet has been out for Serena's soul all season. So many secrets were let out of the bag this week!  It was almost too much to handle...almost.

  • Has Dan finally caught on that it's weird he is in love with his sister?  When he and Blair are trying to see Serena at the Ostroff Center, I sense a tinge of shame as he says "I'm her brother."
  • Why is there a neighborly postman that knows her by name when Juliet steps off the bus?  It's Connecticut, not Pleasantville.
  • While we're talking about Juliet getting off the bus, why is she wearing 2010's sparkly dress but carrying 1920's suitcase?
  • When Serena lets Juliet off the hook for trying to ruin her life, Juliet looks a tad too smug.  You do realize you drugged the wrong girl, right?
  • How is the captain allowed to use Vanderbilt money to lease a house without his wife's consent?  Wouldn't her lawyers be a tad suspicious since he's in JAIL?
  • Lily, from where do you summon the power to keep all these secrets locked away?  Sending an innocent man to jail and selling Chuck's company behind his back: those are a couple of bombshells you just dropped on us, my chignon-loving friend.  Private school is great (trust me, I'm a private school kid, myself), but framing a man for statutory rape just so your daughter can get into one is a tad excessive.
  • Also, not really a question, but I think I noticed a couple of goofs this episode...
    • I don't think you're allowed to join an inmate for tv time.  It's not like visiting a friend at a hotel - they're prisoners.
    • It looks like the picture behind the couch (when Rufus calls Lily out for selling the company) is of Lily from that night - same dress and hair.  Considering I haven't heard anything about time travel suddenly becoming possible and Lily would never wear the same outfit twice, I think somebody messed up here.
So this was a pretty major episode and I have no idea where it will go from here...

Unanswered Questions: Gossip Girl Recap - 11/29/10 Episode

I was terribly worried when I thought they skipped the annual Thanksgiving episode.  It just wouldn't be Thanksgiving without the obligatory annual mention of Blair's old "problem".  Onto the questionable bits of the episode:

  • Was that sarcasm I just heard from Dorota?  Somebody grew some cojones!  I was rather shocked when I heard her say "yes, I want you to freeze" to Blair.
  • When there were two other girls involved in her scheme, did Juliet really think she could get away with the drugging/kidnapping part of her plan?  You're not dealing with amateurs, honey.
  • Who is that girl in the last scene at the Ostroff Center?  Is that Serena?  I didn't recognize her in that baggy sweater and full pair of pants.  I don't think we've ever seen her this covered up.
  • Seriously, how many times is Jenny going to flee to Hudson before any of the lessons stick?  After reading a post on nymag.com, I think this time it's the real deal since she has apparently been put on "indefinite hiatus" from the show.
  • Juiliet, if you're going to skip town, why would you get rid of everything in your apartment except the two bags of evidence (ie: mask)?
  • The convicted felon thinks Juliet crossed the line?  His orange jumpsuit makes me think he wouldn't really care how far Juliet took things.
  • Did anyone care about Nate's mini plotline where he's trying to get his parents back together?  Didn't think so.
And that about wraps it up!  Looks like next week will be a juicy revenge-filled episodek - can't wait!

Unanswered Questions: Gossip Girl Recap - 11/16/10 Episode

TV still broken and had computer playback problems so I'm just now getting to the recaps.  Without further ado...

  • Serena actually knows what a Venn diagram is?
  • Do university Deans actually hold parent teacher conferences like this?  And would they really turn down Lily's offer to donate a building?
  • Does it seem that Blair has a moral problem with Big Love style polygamy or is it that she's more disappointed at the sexist nature of only men being allowed to have multiple spouses and she can't participate?
  • Did the costume people take note that Jenny looked so much better in Serena's hair and make-up?
  • Is everyone making out at the Saints and Sinners party?  Aren't these supposed to be the classy people of New York?  It looks like the middle of the dance floor at a fraternity band party in there.
  • Why are Dan and Nate so happy to treat Serena like the Park Place property of Monopoly?  It doesn't seem like either cares if they win or lose; they just want to play the game, which is kind of gross considering the game is a person.
My heart melted at Chuck's romantic "I love you" speech and the cliffhanger was juicy enough to get me counting down the day's til Monday's new episode.

Unanswered Questions: Gossip Girl Recap - 11/8/10 Episode

I promised I would be better in posting this recap, so here I am, writing another one in the same day:

  • How is Serena able to get under the covers and not notice that there is actually another person in the bed?
  • Serena convinces Colin to give up his job and they still don't have sex?  This is highly unlikely.  Serena is never the tease; she always follows through.  Also...is she blind?  Colin is gorgeous.
  • Aaand Serena is stuck deciding between Nate and Dan.  Again.  Is this a rerun?  Because I'm pretty sure we already went through this in the beginning of the season.
  • Juliet is ashamed people know she shops at Woodbury Commons.  I'm sorry, isn't that the high end outlet that sells Prada?  Wow.  She sounds destitute.
  • How was Vanessa able to just walk into the ballet event?  Those gatherings are invite only and she certainly did not get an invitation in her mailbox at the commune.
At the end of this episode, we saw the misfits unite to take down the rich kids.  I'm sure that means there will be plenty in question next episode...

Unanswered Questions: Gossip Girl Recap - 11/1/10 Episode

Ok so I know I'm a week late recapping last week's episode, and I haven't even watched last night's ep (gasp!), but my tv has been broken so I'm adjusting.  It's a little late, but the recap is here, and I'll be more timely with this week's recap.  The fact that I've had a full week to think about it only means there are extra unanswered questions rolling around in my head:
  • How do Nate and Serena know to invite a stenographer to the contract signing?  I'm pretty sure neither of them even know how to spell or define stenographer.
  • There were too many celebrities at Blair's birthday and not enough friends.  Wouldn't a real 20 year old care more about getting wasted than having the Dean in attendance?  And really, would the dean ever come to something like this?
  • Did Blair have all her guests color coordinate?  Even Chuck, with his crazy boutonniere, matched the Autumn color scheme.
  • Why was Blair more worried about that video getting out than she was about everyone learning how she lost her v card?
  • Didn't Blair's Mom just go to her room a few feet away?  It's a big apartment but not so big that you can have loud, top-of-piano sex without getting caught.
  • Who thinks there is a better name for Jenny than Blair's aptly coined "gothic Barbie"?  Not this recapper.
  • How in the world does Gossip Girl have a tracker on Serena that places her on Google Maps as she walks?  This is completely out of the realm of possibility.
  • Is it just me or does Eric seem to be morphing into Dan?  His hair is getting darker and the shirts are getting plaid-er.  One Dan Humphrey is plenty; Eric should focus on being the group's token gay.
Hopefully, this recap, though late, is satisfying.  Next time, I'll report a little faster.

Unanswered Questions: Gossip Girl Recap - 10/25/10 Episode

The end of tonight's episode had me screaming WHAT?!  But this whole Colin the Cab Stealer turned teacher being behind everything is one humongo unanswered question that I can't really begin to tackle.  For now, let's work on those confusing moments that I can at least begin to wrap my head around:

    • Why were none of my professors that hot?
    • There's a prison literacy program?  And Nate believes this?
    • Since when does Rufus name-drop a restaurant like Babbo instead of suggesting game night and waffles?
    • All that time away and Jenny didn't get a toned down sense of style?  You finally come back and that's what you decide to wear for your big re-entrance?
    • Holy boobs!  No question there just...wow, Serena.
    • Can you just call a prison and ask about inmates?  I feel like when you're dealing with hardened criminals, the rules are not so lax.
    • When did universities start leaving their buildings open that late?
I'm hoping we'll get a few more answers next episode though the teaser says it's all about sex, which I can't really complain about.

Unanswered Questions: Gossip Girl Recap - 10/11/10 Episode

Phew!  We finally have confirmation that Jenny will return via the preview for next week's episode.  That's one major question answered.  But there's no point thinking about next week when we have so much to discuss this week:

    • What professor texts his students?  Serena may have scheduled a meeting with him, but why does a Freshman teacher have the cell phone number of student he's never met?
    • Is Serena's cab cutie always at the St Regis?  I mean, I know he told her they made a good red snapper (?), but what are the odds that they both just show up at the same time when they had made no plans to meet?
    • I know Serena is supposed to dress all sexy and stuff, but the top of her dress at the Hamilton House event was pulled so tight that there were gaping holes around her boobies.  Wouldn't you have picked something slightly more demure when trying to have a serious meeting with your professor?
    • Speaking of the Hamilton House event...I thought that was supposed to be a super exclusive club with their keys and everything.  Why does it seem like every person who has ever walked the streets of New York shows up at this party?
    • Does Juliet own anything that's not beige or gray?  Seriously, her wardrobe is getting tired.
    • Prisoners don't have such easy access to phones and definitely not cell phones that would enable texting.  How is this creepy guy always in touch with Juliet?
And I think that wraps up the biggies for this week!

Unanswered Questions: Gossip Girl Recap - 10/4/10 Episode

Ok, so I'll overlook how disturbed I am by all this live-streaming video on the Gossip Girl website (a little too Big Brother for me) just long enough to review this week's unanswered questions:
    • I love the juxtaposition of B and S's red and blue evening gowns in the last scene.  Could this be a reference to their political leanings?
    • Eva, you're a former prostitute but it's absurd to you that Chuck would doubt you for a mere moment?  Get over it.  Even Richard Gere made Julia Roberts feel like a hooker for a split second in Pretty Woman and he wasn't half as rich as Chuck Bass.
    • Why is Vanessa so upset that Dan is acting like a teenager?  Newsflash: you're ALL teenagers.  Hold the lecture about "what adults do" until you are one.
    • Why is Vanessa making pancakes for Dan's intervention breakfast?  Doesn't she know the Humphrey's is a waffle household?
    • Speaking of the breakfast, why didn't Eric join?  That would have been right up his alley and then perhaps we would have gotten more Jenny information.
    • Wouldn't there be pictures or something in Juliet's fake apartment identifying the real owners?  I don't mean to be a buzzkill, but I don't think even Nate is that stupid.
So this wasn't a crazy episode, but something tells me things will be heating up soon enough, and I'll be ready.

Unanswered Questions: Gossip Girl Recap - 9/27/10 Episode

I looked at the calendar and suddenly realized it's almost time for the next GG episode and I haven't even recapped this week's episode!  Time to get on it so here we go:

      • Did GG costume designers go to college?  Why do they keep dressing the scheming Katie Cassidy (Juliet) character in suits and heels?  Nobody walks around campus like that.  I know they like to show off the latest fashions, but there's nothing special about her wardrobe of boring beige blazers.  When I was in college, I was heading to class in a sorority/fraternity t-shirt, with last night's alcohol literally seeping from my pores.
      • When did GG get video capabilities?!
      • Now that GG has stepped into the 21st century by having a website with video [see above], will the characters finally replace their flip phones with Blackberries and iPhones?  I think my middle school aged cousin has a blackberry.  There's no way these princesses would be using old school technology.
      • Why - after trying on gown after gown after gown - did Eva show up at Fashion's Night Out in one of the re-usable grocery shopping burlap sacks?
      • For a secret club, it seems like a lot of people and their mothers know about Hamilton House.  Who else was hoping for something more Skulls-like?
Phew!  So glad we're all caught up!  Now we only have to wait 3 more days for the next episode when we will hopefully find out more about this orange-clad prisoner.  Though they may string us along for a while before elucidating us on that character.  After all, we still haven't seen Jenny yet this season...

Unanswered Questions: Gossip Girl Recap - 9/20/10 Episode

As great as it was to hear Chuck finally say "I'm Chuck Bass" at the end of this episode, there were still some things that left us wondering what was going on.  Onto our unanswered questions of the episode...

      • How did Serena know the artifacts in the blood stained bag belonged to Chuck?  In my experience, the photo is on the inside of the passport.
      • Why do none of Vanessa's outfits match?
      • Is Blair an idiot?  Why give all that up?  Getting back to college and NYC on-time is not very important when you could be the next Princess Grace.
